Wolverhampton Wanderers’ latest January plans have taken a huge hit this week, and it has left several supporters at Molineux absolutely reeling.
Sky Sports revealed that wantaway striker Patrick Cutrone was back in training after a potential move to Serie A outfit Fiorentina fell through.
It was then reported that Wolves’ pursuit of Hwang Hee-Chan would be put on the back-burner until the summer, possibly as a result of the recent developments.
Nuno Santo claimed last month that he would look to make additions during the January transfer window, and even though we are less than ten days into the month, fans have been displaying their anger on Twitter.
Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell has been the man in the spotlight with the club yet to make any significant moves.
A couple of supporters referenced that they had no faith in the decision-making of the 46-year-old, who has had a role at the club since 2008 when he initially joined as academy manager.
The word ‘masterclass’ was sarcastically used in retaliation to the lack of activity while ‘clown’ was also used.
