Since earning promotion via the Championship play-off final back in 2013, Crystal Palace have made a number of strange signings, most notably when they bought the likes of Shola Ameobi, Kevin Doyle and Emmanuel Adebayor to the club.
However, they have also found some very good acquisitions in that time too.
The likes of Luka Milivojevic – signed for just £11m – Scott Dann, James Tomkins, Wilfried Zaha and Jason Puncheon, to name a few, have all turned out to be key players for the Eagles, without necessarily breaking the bank for their signatures.
