Having signed just three players in the summer, Manchester United are understandably said to be looking at major reinforcements over the coming transfer windows.
Reports in recent weeks have already suggested the club are potentially looking at bringing in eight new players to bolster the first-team squad, and there have been plenty of names linked with a move to Old Trafford as a result.
One man who has reportedly been at the top of the wish-list is Leicester’s James Maddison, with ESPN previously claiming the Foxes play-maker is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side’s top target along with Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.
Now, The Athletic’s David Ornstein has suggested that from those who he has spoken to, there is a feeling Maddison will make the move to Old Trafford within the next year.
