According to the Chelsea’s pursuit of Quenda was significantly boosted by Maresca's personal involvement in the negotiations. The Italian head coach spoke directly with the young winger, providing reassurance about his future at Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea boss also emphasised that the club views him as a crucial part of their long-term vision, reinforcing their trust in his ability.
