Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was revealed that injured Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard may recover in time to face them in the crunch clash at Old Trafford on Sunday, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The pair were initially withdrawn through injury in the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain, with Martial suffering from a groin issue, whilst Lingard was feeling his hamstring.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer originally stated that the duo could miss “two to three weeks” of action, which would have certainly ruled them out of the game against Jurgen Klopp’s side, although they now look set for a swift return.
